Over the last couple years, Brüel and Kjær has released a complete line of test equipment that makes Modal Testing more accurate and easier to setup. Five tuned shakers, amplifiers and stingers with a complete accessory line form a “One Stop Shop” with Total System Solutions including analyzers and Modal Analysis Software. 

This one hour class gives an over view of the requirement for Shaker Excitation and gives fine tips on the excitation techniques that can be used such as random, pseudo-random, burst-random, etc...  The discussion would not complete without a brief discussion of the impact excitation.
